Computerized Electro-Dermal Stress Analysis (EDS) is the end-product of a 50-year evolution in Biological-Energetic/Biofeedback analysis. The technique is understood, accepted, and widely used in the most progressive institutions throughout the world.
By stimulating acupressure points on the skin the electrical resistance at this particular point (which, of course, corresponds to a specific organ, gland or system in the body) may be measured. This is a “bio-energy” reading of the “bio-information” produced by your internal organs and systems.
Credit must be given to the ancient Chinese who were the forefathers of this technology. Their amazing insight into meridian points was way ahead of their time. They were aware that energy flows through the meridians and that any blockages in these meridians impact the body.
In the middle of the last century, Dr. Reinhold Voll then began to harness the meridian readings into a readable technology. He used a device called the “Dermatron,” which was somewhat of a measuring meter. Today, the Vital™ System (Bio-Energetic Software) does this and much more.
What you can expect in a Vital System Screening is that a technician takes a small handheld probe connected to a meter and a computer. He will gently press certain points on your hands (or on occasion feet) while noting the energy readings displayed on his computer. From this screening the technician can tell you which parts of your body are under stress or energetic disturbance. On this basis, the technician can get a very good idea why you are not feeling well, whether you are likely to have a problem in the near future, and what the effects have been and will be to your body. Suggestions will be given as to which vitamins, minerals, herbs, and homeopathic formulas would be helpful based on your specific screening results. What is involved in becoming a Certified Electro-Dermal Stress (EDS) Analysis Technician?
4 units of study are generally covered over the course of 2 long weekends of hands on education, training and testing
Topics to be covered:
- Introduction to EDS Screening
- History of EDS
- Basic Anatomy and Physiology
- Homeopathy and Homotoxicology
- Miasms
- Guide to Product/Symptom Correlation
Hands on Training:
- Hands on meridian training with Certified EDS Technician
- Hands on practice in classroom setting
- Vital™ Screening protocol and software
Requirements before certification:
- Attend Level 1-4 Training
- Complete 15 Practice Screenings (prior to Level 3)
- Pass the final test which covers basic anatomy, physiology, screening protocol, acupuncture meridians, and basic product knowledge (at the end of Level 4)
- Complete 20 hours of EDS screening observation at the Bremen Health Clinic or with an approved Certified EDS Technician.
